What's an Ogie?
At Ogie Kanogie we're comitted to providing great clothing at great prices while still
manufacturing in the USA. Take a look around our site and you'll see that we offer a
fabulous variety of unusual, beautiful fabrics. We hand-pick our fabrics for their beauty,
texture, and machine washability, and we produce our items in small, limited editions to
ensure our line stays unique and fresh. Therefore, if you see we're out of stock in your

Ogie Kanogie is our creation--two Southern California women who have known each other since childhood. Living in
San Diego, we experienced the bone chilling evenings and the cool overcast mornings by the shore. Even now, we're
tired of freezing in restaurants, feeling like icebergs in movie theaters and visiting indoor malls set at subzero
temperatures. And that's during the summer! During the winter months, we're always seeking warmth.

Women's Ogie Coats: Our first idea
Our idea was to create the perfect line of coats and jackets for women. They had to be soft and exceedingly
comfortable. We wanted to be able to feel good sitting in the sand, on the grass or bleacher seats. Our coats had to
look great on the college campus, in the countryside or in the greatest cities of the world.
We also wanted coats for all seasons. Even in August we like a whispter of extra warmth when we're in super-cooled
stores, movies & malls, or watching moonlit waves at the shore. Our lightest weight sweater coats, like Savannah,
Miami and Sonoma, give the warmth of a shawl. Throw it over a dress, jeans, shorts--even a bathing suit and you'll
look great!
And in the dead of winter, Ogie fans all over the country are feeling snug in the popular full length warm winter coats
like the Vail, Swiss Alps and Boston.
In other words, we wanted machine washable coats and jackets that were durable, versatile and great looking. We
wanted our products to be affordable, too, so everyone could have the perfect Ogie coat or dress for any occasion,
all year long.

Being family oriented, we involved our teens in every step of our women's clothing business, including fabric
choices, design, quality control, and even the name, Ogie Kanogie. Well, word came down, loud and clear. Ogie
dresses and tops..and more are here. Our women's long sleeve hoodie dresses and hoodie tops have a fantastic look!
You're bound to love the comfort, the cool factor...and machine washable designs.
But wait! Mens' faux leather and suede jackets are here, too! Our jackets for men are also machine washable,
comfortable and have a very cool look.
